Steven M. Jones, M.D., joined Fairfield Pathologists, Inc.  (the former name of the group), in July 1982.  Dr. Jones received his undergraduate education at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio. Dr. Jones graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Jones did internship and residency in Pathology at the University of New Mexico Hospitals, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Dr. Jones served in the United States Army from 1968-1972.

Dr. Jones is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.   Dr. Jones is a member of  AMA/ISMA and Fort Wayne Medical Society, and is also a member of Fort Wayne Academy of Medicine & Surgery.  Dr. Jones is a fellow of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the College of American Pathology.
