Dr. Wu is the newest member of Indiana Pathology Consultants, Inc. , having joined the group in July 2005. He obtained his M.D. in Fujian, China followed by 5 years research at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Beijing before 6 years at Roswell Park Cancer Institute pursuing his Ph.D. in immunology with extensive flow cytometry training. He then spent 5 years at University of Michigan Medical School as a postdoctoral research fellow training in molecular biology. Dr. Wu then completed pathology residency and surgical pathology fellowship at Brown Medical School / Rhode Island Hospital, followed by Hematopathology Fellowship at University of Massachusetts Medical School, completed this June.

Dr. Wu is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and currently board eligible in Hematopathology. In view of his extensive training in molecular biology (including 5 years bench experience in research), immunology, flowcytometry and Hematopathology, he will concentrate on Hematopathology, while performing general surgical pathology at the Lutheran Hospital Campus. Dr. Wu is a member of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Pathology.
