We file electronically to expedite claims to the insurances for whom we are a provider.

If your Insurance Company is not listed above, you are responsible for filing the insurance claim and paying charges.   

Please note:  you may receive two separate statements for your laboratory and pathology studies performed while you were a patient at LUTHERAN HOSPITAL

Charges for “ Technical Services” – are billed by the Hospital – for use of hospital equipment, technicians and  supplies for your examination and/or procedures performed. 

As a Pathology Provider, we bill for the “Professional Component” – pathology services are performed by one of our pathologists.  Services in the professional component consist of –  Supervision of tests, consultations with your doctor if necessary and/or interpretation of tests.
